Five-year Variations in Air Pollutant Emissions with Ultra-low Emission Retrofits in a 660 MW Coal-fired Power Unit

چکیده
China has enacted the ultra-low emission (ULE) transform in coal-fired power plants. Various studies have focused on model simulation of pollutant variations a national scale, while specific data for concrete generation unit was still lacking. We deployed five-year online collection campaign 660 MW to investigate durative reductions dust, NOx, and SO2, increases removal efficiencies. The result indicated that time slag appeared between ULE execution meeting discharge standards. Since implementation late 2014, emissions exhibited decreasing trend, it not until 2016 amounts reached standards with actual 30.7 ± 4.43, 12.3 3.49, 1.80 0.425 mg m–3 respectively. It particularly pointed out increased again 2017 though they met standards, indicating comprehensive consideration should be taken high cost policy. What’s more, transformation weaken correlation (in m–3) corresponding efficiencies control devices, evidencing received complex impacts from coal components, technologies so on. More practical factors (EFs) expressed kg h–1 g MWh–1 relative were updated this study. Unlike EFs m–3, most decreases 2015 by more than 97.0% compared 2014 three air pollutants arisen reasonable supply or enhancement thoroughness combustion.

In order to investigate the factual air pollutant emissions from Henan’s power sector in 2010, SO2, NOx and PM emissions from 24 generating sets from 15 coal-fired power plants have been measured. It is shown that SO2 emission values from 22 of 24 generating sets conform to the requirements, which is causing by the high performance of the flue gas desulfurization system. Much higher NOx emissio...

Current study concerns measurement of radioactivity levels in areas surrounding a 2420 MW thermal power plant fueled predominantly by bituminous coal. The concentrations of (226)Ra, (232)Th and (40)K in onsite bottom-ash were found to be 139 Bq/kg, 108 Bq/kg and 291 Bq/kg, respectively, the levels for these radiolnuclides in soil decreasing with distance from the power plant. At the plant perim...
